CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & OPERATIONAL SYSTEMS LEAD - PLOIESTI

Main responsibilities:

  • Cascades the initiatives and objectives of the operational system to the unit level, in order to propose its development direction;
  • Ensures the analysis of system requirements and the preparation and follow-up of the implementation plan across the entire plant to achieve the maturity level defined in the organisation’s annual objectives;
  • Proposes solutions and/or improvements to management processes, providing support for development or standardisation projects;
  • Collaborates with the regional team and supports global standardisation projects;
  • Prepares the unit’s external audits in the operational system area;
  • Collaborates with the management team members to establish multi-year operational objectives, ensuring their alignment with the overall business goals;
  • Works together with other departments to identify and address needs, ensuring smooth integration between operations and other business functions;
  • Coordinates continuous improvement processes, developing useful procedures and work tools (manages Kaizen databases);
  • Coordinates change management, developing useful procedures and work tools based on risk assessment;
  • Manages the Lean Andon system database;
  • Ensures the implementation of the change management process, including obtaining the necessary approvals and maintaining relevant records, whenever a change is initiated that impacts the product, process, occupational health & safety risks, quality, layout, equipment, infrastructure, etc;
  • Conducts spontaneous or scheduled audits (Gemba Walks, LPA-level audits, 5S audits) and identifies improvement opportunities;
  • Allocates the necessary budget to achieve objectives related to the management system (Quality, HSE, company management operating system, and other applicable systems);
  • Ensures the communication of results and the status of the company’s key projects to all employees through the factory’s communication channels, including the operational system and quarterly employee meetings;
  • Participates in organizing local training sessions on topics related to the company’s operational system.

 

Knowledge:

  • University graduate, technical background (preferred);
  • Relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Six Sigma / Green Belt / Lean Expert certification is an advantage;
  • Experience in an industrial environment (preferably in process improvement, production, operations);
  • Experience using SAP;
  • Experience in budget management and financial forecasting;
  • English language proficiency;
  • Strong organisational skills, and strong written and verbal communication of both technical and non-technical topics;
  • Determined and results-oriented person.
