Your New Role:

 

Innovation strategy and execution

  • Designs and develops the Innovation Procedure (Innovation Funnel) within the company and establishes an innovation idea management system (including processes and templates/forms);
  • Continuously evaluates the innovation process across all its phases, proposes new ideas and approaches for managing and developing the innovation process, and ensures the continuity of the innovation pipeline;
  • Collects and analyzes the information required to develop Business Cases, which are submitted to the company’s Board members for approval;
  • Develop and implement the projects approved by the Board, guiding the Business Case through all stages until the project reaches a mature phase;
  • Act as an innovation champion and promote a culture of creativity and continuous improvement;
  • Lead cross-functional innovation projects from idea generation to launch readiness.
  • Coordinate product, packaging, and process innovation initiatives with Marketing, R&D, Sourcing and Sales;
  • Ensure that innovation projects are aligned with brand identity, category strategy, and business priorities;
  • Monitor innovation progress, identify risks, and drive corrective actions when needed;
  • Share and adapt best practices from local and international markets.

 

Market and consumer understanding

  • Identify consumer needs, usage occasions, and category trends relevant to food innovation;
  • Translate consumer and shopper insights into clear innovation opportunities.
  • Use market data and category analysis to identify growth spaces and innovation priorities;
  • Support the development of brand and portfolio direction based on consumer and market insight.

 

Cross-functional project management

  • Build and coordinate project teams for innovation initiatives;
  • Align stakeholders on scope, timing, roles, and deliverables;
  • Ensure clear communication and regular updates throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Support decision-making and secure buy-in from relevant functions.

 

Financial responsibility

  • Plan and monitor the innovation budget;
  • Track performance of innovation projects versus business objectives;
  • Evaluate the commercial impact of launches and renovation initiatives;
  • Support ROI tracking and resource allocation for innovation activities.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • University degree, preferably in Marketing, Economics, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in FMCG, preferably in food, marketing, innovation, product management, or category management;
  • Experience in cross-functional project management is an advantage;
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken;
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Advanced project management capabilities;
  • Good understanding of consumer behavior, shopper behavior, channels, and category dynamics;
  • Good command of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel;
  • Strategic thinking and leadership;
  • Innovation mindset and consumer orientation;
  • Collaboration and influence;
  • Results orientation, ownership and accountability;
  • Problem solving and decision making.
